Target Audience: Physicians, Dentist, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Midwives, and PA’s in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN & small practices of less than 10

  • Provide an update on federal initiatives involving Health Information Technology (HIT)

  • Describe what clinicians will need to accomplish in order to apply for stimulus funding

  • Review the role of the Regional Extension Center in assisting clinicians’ move to meaningful use of HIT  

  • Discuss Meaningful Use and what it means to the practicing clinician
