Lecture Title – Bleaching

Audience – First Year Endodontic Residents
Time – 2 Hours
Audio Visual Requirements – Two 35mm projectors and a pointer
Students Will:

  1. Be able to relate intra and extra coronal bleaching techniques

  1. Be able to describe bleaching associated resorption

  1. Be able to advise patients on the use of various in office and at-home bleaching products


Bleaching – The use of a chemical agent, sometimes in combination with heat, to remove tooth discoloration.
