Lion’s Club Service Eye Clinic

Services: Offers complete eye examinations, prescription glasses and professional eye health counseling to persons with limited income or without insurance. Accepts children 2 years and older. Must meet the following criteria: be referred by Mecklenburg County Schools, Lions Clubs, church or other organization; be uninsured, uninsurable or receive Medicaid; and qualify for low income status. Vision USA

Services: A nationwide non-profit organization that provides individuals who do not have health insurance and who are not eligible for any state or federal government assistance programs with a high quality, comprehensive eye exam at no charge. While currently a contact lens exam and / or contacts are not available through the VISION US programs, free eyewear may be provided at no cost to the client or for a small fee/donation in some states under certain conditions and situations.
