Burton Farmers Gin Ass’n, Inc.

Burton, Texas

Gentlemen:
We, the children of the late C. Dallmeyer, wish to thank the members of the Burton Farmers Gin Ass’n for the resolutions of sympathy and respect adopted at their annual meeting. We are sure that these resolutions would have found appreciative heartstrings had he been aware of the fact that such honors were in store for him.
There are moments in our lives that probably seem too gloomy, and we know that such hours crept on him during his association with your concern. There were days in which he felt that his efforts did not find responsive cords; but he was always slow to acknowledge defeat, and it was his determination and aggressiveness that was frequently misunderstood by his associates. However, his intentions were always honest and good, and the work he spent in the firm’s behalf was not altogether for personal gain, but he found a sincere pleasure in the success of his endeavors.
We thank you one and all.
His children.
