(These were Identified as a cloth Case for the M-1 Garand M-84 Sniper Scope)

(I am Not Positive of the Identification. I saw a New Garand Sniper Rifle in the Delta in the Spring/Summer of 1968 so the date on these boxes would jive with my sighting of the Rifle a few months later??)

Black Waterproof Rubberized Carrier for the M5-11-7 Gas Mask. Made of black neoprene covered canvas. Closed by a roll-over closed top secured by 4 x glove-snaps.

Used by D-Day Infantry and Parachutists





C. Rubber still supple and OG Straps in Excellent Condition, hardware has below average rust and Verdigris(see pic), neoprene has small-size scuffs (see pic), markings on front have faded but still readable “U. S.” chemical symbol “U” “ARMY ASSAULT GAS MASK”, GC+
