Response Options

1 Yes

5 No

8 Don’t Know

9 Refused

ANALYSIS ISSUES:

  • Question wording changed slightly when old module was replaced: the detail “electricity through” was added for clarity in the procedure description, and question was asked directly to improve module flow.

  • Question order was changed when the old module was replaced: procedures are queried in order from least invasive to most invasive. Electrolysis is still asked immediately before acupuncture, but both now take place before questions regarding piercing.

QUESTION:

Now I would like to ask you about Extreme Body Modification which includes procedures like: branding the skin with a hot object or tool; scarification where a design is cut into the skin; and implantation of a foreign object under the skin to make a design.
