Linda M. Douglas, Registered Dental Hygienist, B.Sc. (Oral Health Promotion)
About the speaker:
Linda M. Douglas, RDH, B.Sc. graduated as a dental hygienist from the Royal Dental Hospital in London, England in 1982. After working in periodontology at the Royal Dental Hospital, Linda moved to Toronto, Canada, where she has worked in private general and periodontal practice since 1990.
Her main focus is to educate dental professionals to increase awareness of the significance of healthy saliva for optimal oral and general health, as she has a desire to improve support for xerostomic patients. This has instigated an in-depth study of saliva and xerostomia management which has evolved into her writing articles on oral health.
Linda has lectured at rdhu, and also the 2013 Annual Townie Meeting in Las Vegas, the Toronto Academy of Dentistry Annual 2014 Winter Clinic, and the 2015 Dentistry in Paradise convention in Barbados.
