Inserting Attendance Details


This feature enables you from within Word to display details of a pupil/student’s attendance at any place in the report.
        1. Authorised Absences


To insert the number of authorised absences in the report, right-click in the text where you wish to insert it and select Attendance Details | Authorised Absences.
        1. Unauthorised Absences


To insert the number of unauthorised absences in the report, right-click in the text where you wish to insert it and select Attendance Details | Unauthorised Absences.
        1. Possible Sessions


To insert the number of sessions that the pupil/student could have attended, right-click in the text where you wish to insert it and select Attendance Details | Possible Sessions.
        1. Percentage Attendance


To insert the attendance details as a percentage, right-click in the text where you wish to insert it and select Attendance Details | Percentage Attendance.
        1. Lesson Attendance


  1. To insert lesson attendance details in the report, right-click in the text where you wish to insert it and select Attendance Details | Lesson Attendance. The Lesson Attendance dialog is displayed.



  1. Click the Field Browser button to display the Group Browser dialog.

From this dialog you can select the course for which the pupil/student’s lesson attendance details are required.

The From and To fields can be used as a filter to display the course details within a particular date range.

The default date range is the current academic year.



  1. To change the date range you can directly enter the new dates, or click the associated Calendar button, select a date from the displayed calendar and click the Refresh button.

  2. Select the Show all courses check box to display all courses.

  3. Click the Course + symbol to list the courses. Highlight the required course and then click the Apply button to return to the Lesson Attendance dialog where the selected course is displayed.

  4. Click the Update button to insert the lesson attendance details in the report.
