If you want to maintain a history of results, the Result Set field can be ignored. However, if you wish to store only one result for a pupil/student in association with the template, click the Result SetBrowserbutton to display the Select Result Setdialog.
Highlight the required result set then click the Selectbutton to return to the OMR Template Details page. The selected result set name is displayed.
To select the aspect(s) and the grades you wish to add to the template, click the Aspectbutton in the Grade panel to display the Create Pattern Columns dialog.
To select the aspect(s), in the Select the Aspects panel click the Openbutton to display the Aspectbrowser.
If required, filter the display by selecting the required Categories. Click the +or –symbols to expand and contract the list then select the check box adjacent to each required Category. The list of aspects is restricted to only those aspects associated with the selected Categories.
To quickly locate a particular aspect, enter the first character(s) of the aspect in the Searching for field and the first aspect matching the character(s) typed is highlighted. Continue to enter characters until the aspect you are searching for is highlighted.
To select an aspect, click anywhere on the aspect row that will appear blue and automatically select the adjacent check box. Repeat this action for all required aspects.
NOTE: You can drag down sequentially listed aspects to select them and also click the aspect row again to deselect an unwanted aspect. Click the Selectbutton to add a column to the template definition for each chosen aspect and return to the wizard.
Click anywhere on the aspect row, which will then appear blue and automatically select the adjacent check box. Repeat for all required aspects and then click the Selectbutton to return to the wizard.
The Number of Columns Remainingfield displays a positive number if there are free columns available; to be used if you wish to add further grades and/or aspect(s) to the template. Conversely, a minus number indicates that the number of grades in the chosen aspects exceeds 26. You will then need to select one of the aspects in the Select the Aspectslist and deselect a sufficient number of grades from the Select the Grades for the selected Aspectlist, so that 26 or less grades remain. If it is not possible to omit any grades then you will need to redesign the template.
Select the appropriate radio button to display the grades on the OMR template in Ascendingor Descendingorder from the Show Grades in area of the page.
The final panel on the Create Pattern Columns page displays the aspect(s) and grades you have selected for the template columns.
Click the OKbutton to return to the OMR Template Details page.
The selected aspect(s) and grades are displayed in the Grade Columnslist and the order in which the aspects appear can be altered using the up and down arrows on the right. It is also possible to delete selected grades from the template using the Deletebutton.
Click the Savebutton on the Focus Bar to save the OMR template.
