Cloning an Individual Report Format


You can create a new Individual Report by cloning an existing one. Although editable, the Notes are inherited from the original Report. Once cloned, the new Report can be edited as required.

  1. Select Focus | Assessment | Individual Report to display the Individual Report browser.

  2. Click the Search button to display all Individual Reports. The list can be filtered by selecting from the Owner drop-down list and clicking the Search button, using the Select Category Browser button, or by entering search parameters in the Individual Report Name field.

  3. Highlight the required Individual Report and click the Open button or double-click the Individual Report to display the Individual Report Details page.

  4. Click the Clone button on the Focus Bar.

The copied Individual Report is displayed with the Name field blank.

  1. Enter a Name for the Report.

  2. Click the Save button on the Focus Bar to save the new Individual Report.

The new Report format can be edited by clicking the Word button (please see Designing/Editing an Individual Report on page 174).
    1. Deleting an Individual Report Format


If you have the appropriate permissions you can delete Individual Report Formats.

  1. Select Focus | Assessment | Individual Report to display the Individual Report browser.

  2. Click Search to display all Individual Reports. The list can be filtered by selecting from the Owner drop-down list and clicking Search, using the Select Category Browser button, or by entering search parameters in the Individual Report Name field.

  3. Highlight the required Individual Report and click the Delete button on the Focus Bar.

  4. You will be asked for confirmation that you wish to delete. Click the Yes button to delete the Individual Report Format.

  1. Select Focus | Assessment | Individual Report to display the Individual Report browser.

  2. Click the Search button to display all Individual Reports. The list can be filtered by selecting from the Owner drop-down list and clicking the Search button, using the Select Category Browser button, or by entering search parameters in the Individual Report Name field.

  3. Highlight the required Individual Report and click the Open button or double-click the Individual Report to display the Individual Report Details page.

  4. Click the Properties hyperlink or scroll down the page to view the Properties panel.

Default Name and Default Notes show the information added when the Individual Report Format was originally created. Where an Individual Report Format has been imported, this information will be that defined by the person who created the Format, regardless of any changes that may have been made following import.

When exporting the Format, the default information is used in the export file. However, when re-importing an existing Format, you can choose whether to overwrite any existing name or notes with the default information in the import file or retain any changes that you have made prior to the import.



The Module field identifies which SIMS module was used to create the Format, which in most circumstances is SIMS Assessment. The Supplier field displays the establishment that created the Format. The Owner is the name of the user who created the Format.
    1. Missing Results Report


This report enables you to ascertain whether other staff members have completed the entry of results in all their marksheets.

  1. Select Reports | Assessment | Missing Results Report to display the Missing Results Report page.
