The 3nd Exam for awarding the European Diploma in Transplant Medicine is organised by the European Board of Transplant Medicine of the Division of Transplantation of the UEMS in collaboration with the European Society of Organ Transplantation (ESOT).
Application starts April 1st, 2013 and is opened for both Junior and Senior transplant physicians
Junior transplant physicians should have a minimal 2-year training in transplantation medicine for applying.
Juniors should apply for the Common Transplantation Medicine Module together with one or more of the Organ Modules: Kidney, Pancreas, Heart, Lung, Liver and Intestinal/Multivisceral Transplantation.
Deadline for application is June 15th, 2013
Final examination of eligible candidates will take place in Vienna, Austria
on September 7th, 2013, the day before ESOT meeting.

Senior transplant physicians with at least 10 years of continuous experience as specialists practicing in formal nationally recognized posts are eligible to apply for an Honorary Diploma and be exempted of the examination.
Seniors can apply for the following modules: Kidney, Pancreas, Heart, Lung, Liver and Intestinal/Multivisceral Transplantation.
