  1. Responsible for the compilation and dissemination of Daily News by scanning all publications of local/national/internet publications, identify articles related to ExxonMobil and its operations. This include topics that could become potential issues to the company (i.e. oil & gas, politics, economy, government, other Production Sharing Contractors)

  2. Translate and summarize articles re. EMOI publications and relevant topics

Position: Project Assistant/Translator, TV Training Dept.

RESPONSIBILITY:


  1. Disseminate advertisement on TV training through various printed and electronics media

  2. Serve as the main person for getting information on TV journalism training and project operation

  3. Assist the Resident Advisor in composing our Training for Trainer program, in order to prepare Indonesian TV Journalism Trainers that consists of senior professionals from various local TV stations

  4. Assist the Resident Advisor in selecting TV trainees and recruitment process

  5. Perform consecutive translation for International Consultants during courses and seminars

  6. Translate documents including training hand-outs, training books, correspondence, web content and many other publications

  7. Responsible for web content, training hand-outs, training books, training videos and other publications

  8. Check, edit, and lay out training documents translated by other staff members

  9. Provide financial and logistical support for training courses and project day-to-day operation.

RESPONSIBILITY:

  1. Identify training/learning opportunities for local NGOs to be funded by MCI

  2. Identify resources that Grants Project can use to provide training for the local NGOs

  3. Provide bilingual reports on impact of capacity building activities

  4. Assist NGOs, both who are directly implementing MCI funded projects and others who work or may work on food security projects, to identify areas where they may need support

  5. Monitor NGO project activities through field visits and provide bilingual written reports

  6. Disseminate information to local NGOs regarding Grants Program on every round

  7. Set up the content of MCI website, Leaflet/Newsletter on the activities of Grants Project



THE BRITISH COUNCIL Period: 10 July 1995–September 1998

Position: Education & Environment Projects Assistant


RESPONSIBILITY:

  1. Make arrangements for promotional, orientation, and pre-departure briefing to the clients (the World Bank and ADB funded government officials)

  2. Prepare bilingual contracts and draft costing

  3. Present proposal to the clients and make agreement for the contract format

  4. Communicate with United Kingdom universities over trainees’ placement
