Dr. Bob Benedon (Cherry Hill, NJ) has a private practice in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and is a Clinical Professor of Periodontics at the University Of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Although he has practiced, taught and enjoyed dentistry for the past 30 years, his true love and involvement has been in the Jewish community. Bob was active in the Solomon Schechter school system locally as well as on the national level, having served on the Solomon Schechter Day School Association Board and has twice co-chaired their Biennial Conference. He was involved in the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey, served on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee and numerous other committees. He chaired the Men’s Campaign for four years and was the Co-Chair of the Major Gifts Division. Bob was awarded the Shellie Greenspun Young Leadership Award in 2002 for his efforts. Passionate about JNF, Bob is Chair of Makor, past Major Gifts Chair and current South Jersey Major Gifts Chair, and serves on the JNF Budget and Finance Committee. He has been to Israel with JNF 11 times (chairing five missions) and marvels at the breadth of JNF’s work. All three of his sons attended the Alexander Muss High School in Israel, a JNF partner.
