GRADE Adviser/Manager 1
OBJECTIVE Co-ordinating research and scientific content primarily across the BDJ and BDJ Open but also across the BDJ Portfolio. It is anticipated that in the first instance the job will require a commitment of one day a week, possibly rising by agreement as BDJ Open develops. The job will require attendance for some of the time at the BDA/Springer Nature offices but otherwise may be conducted from a distant site by electronic means.
Liaise with and participate as a member of the BDJ Open Editorial Board and facilitate editorial dialogue with relevant colleagues at the BDA and Springer Nature, to develop the publications in line with individual Journal Development Plans.
Develop and sustain excellent links with colleagues across the BDA and Springer Nature to ensure that the BDJ portfolio promotes the full range of BDA activity.
Monitor and advise on scientific content across the BDJ Portfolio.
Keep up-to-date with current developments in dentistry.
Attend Editorial Board Meetings and Conferences as required.
