  • During our development and testing of Eyeconic, our online optical store, we identified opportunities to improve the system. As a result, VSP Global, decided to hold off on the beta launch of Eyeconic until we were confident in the delivery of the best possible customer experience.

There several phases of the Eyeconic launch. Here’s what’s planned for 2011:

A public online e-commerce site designed to refer visitors browsing for optical products online back to VSP practices. When visitors purchase on eyeconic.com, we’ll pay the prescribing VSP doctor a professional support fee. If the prescribing doctor is not a VSP provider, we will refer the shopper to the nearest VSP doctor.

VSP members will have full access to all products and pricing available on eyeconic,com. The general public will only be able to buy contacts, and browse sunwear/eyewear without visible pricing.
2011 Launches:

Features the ability to buy contact lenses, browse sunwear, and refer to a VSP doctor.
