Mark your calendar now for the 37th Annual Rotary Club of Texas City Golf Tournament to be held Thursday, March 29, 2012. The Golf Committee is asking you to help in any way you can. Please commit early so that your contribution will assure your Company Name or Individual Sponsor Name is listed on all promotional materials, including the golf entry forms that are distributed throughout the county. Sponsorship Forms are available from Dawn. They were also sent out via email. Please feel free to forward those on to your co-workers, family and friends. David Laine – March 19th – David joined the club on December 5, 1989. He was proposed by Ben Baty under the classification Industrial Service Hydroblasting – Management. David is the President of Delesco, Inc. and married to Rotarian Deborah Laine and son of Dale Laine, Sr., also a Rotarian. They have four children who keep them very busy with school and sports activities. David is a Past President and multiple PHF. He loves to golf and hunt.

Rotary Fellowship and Makeup Evening

The March Rotary Fellowship and Makeup evening will be on Tuesday, March 27th at Gus’ Restaurant in Texas City. Plan to stop by on your way home and if you need to use this for a makeup please let Dawn know.

Newest Member

Ivan Langford was announced as the newest member of the club last week. Ivan was proposed by Don Gartman under the classification Government – Utilities – General Manager Water Authority. He transferred his membership from the Rotary Club of Frisco to our club since he works in Texas City for the Gulf Coast Water Authority.
